Delivering absolute consistency through intelligent, centralized management tools for model-based development of embedded systems
John Mills co-founded SimuQuest in 2001 with a vision to create more efficient model-based development products and services. John began his career with Ford in the UK after graduation from Aston University in 1986. During this time, John was the technical lead for development of electronic throttle control (ETC) technology. He later moved to the USA to support Ford's efforts in ETC development and multi-variable engine idle speed control. Following his work with Ford, John joined the GM Powertrain team in late 1992, where he developed engine air and EGR estimation prediction algorithms and also developed controls oriented engine and vehicle models. John went on to serve as a Manager for Power train Controls and Diagnostics at Hyundai before moving on to Motorola Automotive in 1997 as a technical lead focused on engine control and automatic code (auto-code) generation for production. At Motorola John managed the model-based software development group and was instrumental in leading the first automotive-industry production auto-code deployment. Today, John Mills is the CEO of SimuQuest where he is focused on enabling safer, more innovative electronics by delivering Absolute Consistency.
